Sonny, the black lab, ran ahead to make sure there were no gophers or jackrabbits in the way. If you don't give a dog a specific job, he'll improvise one for himself and it will invariably be fun. There's a lesson there.

Bjorn I really wasn't trying to compete per-say....I just thought we might stir up some good stories. As you known some of the best fishing stories don't always center around the fishing.

I'm glad to hear you made it through hitting that deer in your car you call the "deer slayer"...the only thing I could call my car was "history". We didn't exactly have any forty fish days that trip but it is some nice water and some nice fish were taken.
